Phrase Piano

Your privacy

Last updated 31 October 2026 · covers the Phrase Piano app for iPhone.

What the app hears

To mark the keys you play, Phrase Piano listens to your piano through your phone's microphone while you play in Your turn, In time, the tuning and the first lesson. The sound is analysed on your phone as it arrives, and then let go: it is never recorded, stored or sent anywhere.

What the app keeps

Your progress (the parts you have played and their stars), the minutes you practise each day, your piano's tuning and your reminder time are kept on your phone only. Deleting the app deletes them.

Reminders

If you switch on the daily reminder, your phone shows it at the time you chose. Nothing about it leaves your phone.

Purchases

Phrase Piano Pro is bought through the App Store. Apple handles the payment; we never see your card. RevenueCat, the service that tells the app whether Pro is on, keeps a record of the purchase under a random number, not your name or email.

What we do not do

No account, no advertising, no tracking across apps or websites, no analytics, and nothing sold or shared.

Children

The app collects nothing from anyone, children included.
